Founded in 1957, the Presque Isle Country Club has been the site of many tournaments over the past 50 years. The annual Spudland Open Tournament has been held here for over 40 years and is one of the major amateur golf tournaments in the state of Maine. Golf tournaments open to the public include:

• Key Bank Charity Golf Tournament on Aug. 13
• Parkhurst Siding Open Shootout on Aug. 20
• Parkhurst Siding Open on Aug. 21
• Grounds Crew Revenge Tournament Sept. 18
• 6x6x6 Tournament Oct. 2

Weekly events include: 

• Monday Night: Ladies Twilight League at 4:30 p.m.
• Tuesday: Ladies Day at 8:30 a.m.
• Tuesday Night: Men's Twilight League at 1:30 p.m.
