Founded in 1957, the Presque Isle Country Club has been the site of many tournaments over the past 50 years. The annual Spudland Open Tournament has been held here for over 40 years and is one of the major amateur golf tournaments in the state of Maine. Golf tournaments open to the public include:

• Monday Night: Ladies Twilight League at 4:30 p.m.
• Tuesday: Ladies Day at 8:30 a.m.
• Tuesday Night: Men's Twilight League at 1:30 p.m.
• Friday: Couples' Golfing at 5:30 p.m.
• Sunday: Family Golf at 3:00 p.m. (9 hole)
• Sunday: Junior Golf League at 5:00 p.m.
